Just this past weekend I had work at the bank and had to be there around 10:45. I get up feeling pretty good from the sleep I got the night before. I started get ready and continued downstairs to grab a granola bar and make myself a roast beef sandwich that was left overs from my sister's birthday party we had last night. This roast beef is the best! It's from the farmer's market on Cottman Ave. in Mayfair.
I get in my car turn on the radio The Cure's on which always puts me in a good mood. I basically am having a solid day even though I have to go into work. On my way down Grant towards Roosevelt Blvd I come up to the light and I am a few cars back and on the right side of the road is this homeless person. I typically don't look because I really do think a lot of them are schemers, but this one day for some particular reason I felt the need to really care. I looked down at my bag of fruit and my awesome sandwich and thought to myself, "Hmm. do I really need this or does he need it more." So as I am having a conflict with myself on what to do I figured I'd pull over and give him the bag. So, I do and he runs over kind of a really scary run and just grabs it not a thank you or a smile. OH well I thought at least I made the effort.
I go into work and go about my day training as usual. Towards the end of the day about ten minutes before we close as the team is locking up everything we see this car pull in the parking lot. I thought to myself go home I'm sick of helping people for the day, but he didn't come into the bank. This guy pulls up and comes out of the car. He is wearing light denim jeans and a dark blue button down shirt that he has tucked in his jeans. He wasn't a horrible looking man, but was kind of disheveled. He was wearing old beat up hiking boots. As he catches my attention I start watching what he was doing. I then see him open trunk look around to see if anyone was watching him and pulled out a few things. He pulled out a dirty old parka and put it on as well as grungy winter hat. He picks up a backpack and puts it on. The last thing he picked up was a piece of cardboard box with the words "need food, money, shelter, I have nothing please help me." Oh crazy right? This sign and this guy looked so familiar. You know why? Because that guy was the same guy I felt bad for and gave my freaking lunch to! I was so enraged! I though the one time I try and be nice and the guy is a fraud. This is what you get I guess. Such is life, but I was still really bummed out.

Day Six
Today was the day this trip all was surrounded by...STONEHENGE! It actually wasn't as exciting as I thought it was going to be.
What was really interesting was the fact that when your sitting in a classroom and learning about something you can never really appreciate the scale of it until your there yourself.

Day Five
Day Five we checked out Avebury and all of the glory it offers. HA. It was fun though. This structure was said to be used possibly as a place of rituals for some sort of people in that area. Death and birth were extremely close linked and important.
The crazy part is that were is a stone known as the "fertile" stone where it is said to be helpful in gaining pregnancy. When we were checking out the area we found a little trinket bag filled with stones and a vile filled with some kind of substance. Two stones were in the shape of female and male fertility parts. This is so important because it shows how the structure not only still exists, but it is still in use!
I found that to be extremely interesting. These formations are very intricate and obviously were made for a purpose. Will we ever truly know why they were made? Most likely not, but we can try to always live on the underlying culture as did the people in Avebury long ago.

Day Four
Today we went to Maiden Castle which is a huge earth work that was made many years ago.
This land formation was built with three bank and ditches surrounding the main area where there was said to of been a castle. The reason why we visited this was to see the bank and ditches and to compare them to the ones of avebury and stonehenge. We are not too sure what theses monuments were specifically used for but, what we do know is there was a huge religious meaning intertwining throughout all of these places.

Day Three
Today we went to Salisbury for a few days and checked into the Sarum College. Sounds great hanging out with British College kids, but no. It was a monastery. WOO. Anyways after we checked in we went to a run down church very cool took lots of pictures. One of my favorite parts of this was in a cove in the back through some trees was a memorial of some sort that I found. They had ribbons hanging everywhere with sayings of all sorts. There were candles and votives. Some of the ribbons had words like in loving memory or please heal grandpa. I felt the need to tie a piece of grass like plant. It was more of a long leave around on of the branches since I did not have a ribbon. I did this in memory of my cousin Regina. She was murdered back in July. She is the reason why I decided to take this trip. Not only was she a go getter, but she was fun and very artistic. Gina we love and miss you every day.
Day Two
Yesterday felt like the longest day ever. I do not even know where to begin. Already one person had threats of being sent home and drama is never ending. I guess thats what you would expect with thirteen people ten being girls. Today hopefully is much better. We saw so many sites today I hope I can rememeber all of their names.
I saw Big Ben which was cool, but don't see much of why it is sooo awesome
Kinda boring right?
Attached or well next to big ben is parliament. This was a big attracttion since when we were there protests were going on.
We than were trying to find Buckingham Palace and went into the total opposite direction. Asked a seemingly nice guy where to go who directed us in the wrong way, but we did get to see the London Eye. This is pretty cool is a ferris wheel where 15-25 people can fit in each cart. It looks all over London. The not so cool part was the fact it was 25 pounds about 45 Dollars!!! WTF. So I just took pictures.
Finally after buying a map (probably would have been a good idea to begin with) we found Buckingham Palace. The cool things here is when the flag is up the Queen is actually in the building.
After our adventures we hung out at the Sherlock Holmes Pub and ate some food and sampled some drinks ;).

Day One
I am currently on the "tube" on my way to Leicester, London. It's amazing how much we suck at home with our public transportation. It is not full of bums, trash, and does not smell at all here. So far so good. It's a dreary day, but I have been told most of the days are.
Going away with fifteen strangers well not so much, but people you are not very close with is difficult when you can only tolerate five of them. When I say tolerate I mean I am a very very patient person, but man do these people need to grow up.
Well, It's only hour two here hopefully my opinions change and I am definitely hoping they do for their sake, HA.

England is just around the corner
Just for your information I tend to forget to write my blogs online. I carry a notebook around where I do most of my writing and never remember to transfer it onto here.
Tomorrow is the day where I am finally off to England. When I first signed up for the class I was really excited to leave, but as time went on I totally forgot I was even going. Shit! Now I am leaving within matters of hours and I have not packed anything yet. It is sinking in now. Hopefully I have a great trip and I will be letting you know how it goes on from here and out.

One in the same
Hello old friend, we meet at last
Silent and strong, how the years have passed
You seem older now, more willing to give
My sympathies, but I must live
And you must die.
You ran me to the nadir
Leaving me lifeless and alone
Laying on rock bottom
Feelings of only pain and stone
Never again will you rise.
I may see you from time to time
Sitting deep and hidden lost in my reflection
But from my deepest introspection
Your infection can last no more
I hate you, and even though that’s all you feel
Its more than you will ever know
And with extreme intensity, it is real.
I will never forget your face
Just to make sure, If I see you again
I can put you in your place
Enjoy your captivity, your free reign is through
Now I am free, I am no longer you.

Life
This earth and I are in constant collision
Life’s full of constant choices
and I fall victim to constant indecision
I’m on a course for pain
That’s how I know I’m alive
I rather scream in agony
Than let this world pass me by
So batter my soul, and tear my heart
Rip me into pieces, Cut me apart
Ill love every moment, every person, every thing
Ill relish in every sunlight, every rain, every wind
Ill dance in the fire, and sing in the sea
Nothing in this world, can submerge me
Life’s full of constant choices
and I fall victim to constant indecision
I’m on a course for pain
That’s how I know I’m alive
I rather scream in agony
Than let this world pass me by
So batter my soul, and tear my heart
Rip me into pieces, Cut me apart

Sllloooowwww Down
I want to try and figure out why I am a procrastinator. I feel as though I do it to my benefit since I try so hard to do so many things at once that once in a while certain things to fall behind. People today have become more and more like procrastinators leaving things to the very last minute. I think it is because we live in such a fast pace society. Maybe if we lived in the south things would be different.
One thing I would really love to do is to sometime in my life live in the south and see how I like it. I would love to expand my horizons and live in that environment just for a short period of time. Hopefully at some point I will be able to do this and appreciate the hustle and bustle. One day I hope to slow down, but for now I have more important things to be doing.

Free of Time
Does time slip by quickly
or are we too impatient to breathe
Now is the time, live not too swiftly
Endless moments can last forever if you just believe
Enjoy every second for it is up to you
to fill it with happniess and allow it to be true
Yes, misery will creep up maybe take over
those cherished days of sun and skies that are blue
Remember when facing those challenges ahead
to hold close to times when you feel fulfilled
It's easy you know one, two, three
Be who you are or just simply be free
or are we too impatient to breathe
Now is the time, live not too swiftly
